Open Bid Invitation[Removal of Asbestos and Renovation of the Auditorium]





1. Description:Removal of Asbestos and Renovation of the Auditorium at the Korean Embassy



2. Qualification:

¨Business with a valid business license

¨Business that is not related to any of these status: liquidation, M&A, disposal, legal composition, court receivership, and/or any types of legal disputes

5. Bidding Result: AfterSeptember 23, to be individually contacted via email or call



6. Bidding Decision:

¨ We take the open competitive bidding method, where qualified and competent business with the

lowest proposal estimate is awarded the bid.

¨ When multiple competent suppliers propose the same lowest estimates, only those selected will

go through re-bidding.



7. Expected Amount Range: 3,096,918Baht



8.Contract Schedule:

¨ Contract Signing: To be contacted via call

¨ Expected Contract Period: 5months from the signing of the contract



9. Bidding Invalidation:

¨ Applications that do not meet the stated qualifications are notconsidered for this project.

¨ Applications with insufficient, forged and counterfeit documents are not considered.

¨ When the successful bidder does not wish to continue concluding the contract, it is required that

the bid deposit (which is waived at registration) be paid to the Embassy

¨ The Korean Embassy promotes transparency and fairness in contracts

¨ Any difference of interpretation would follow the interpretation of the Embassy

<Detail Descriptions for Auditorium Renovation Project>


The auditorium renovation project aims at updating the current facility and to carry out the detail job descriptions as below:

[COVID-19 Guidelines]
- All workers must wear masks throughout the renovation period
- All workers are required to be fully vaccinated (2 doses) or at least 1 dose.
In case the workers are not fully vaccinated, PCR test are to be
conducted every week and must submit the test result to the Embassy as well.
- One PCRtest for all workers is mandatory and must submit the test result
within a week after the commencement of the renovation
- Before coming to the construction site, all workers are required to check
fever and to carry out the self-assessment “thaisavethai” app. everyday.

1.    Removal of all ceiling and wall made of asbestos:
[Safety Measures]
- All workers must wearand remove protective masks and suits at a designated
changing room provide by the contractor
- Cover the ceiling and the wall with shatter resistance vinyl
- Dispose all asbestos materials away from the embassy safely everyday
- The contractor must provide accident insurance for all workers
2. Wall& Panel Work
- Installing gypsum board
- Installing acoustic board of sound absorbing
3. Ceiling Work
- Installing gypsum board
- Installing acoustic board of sound absorbing
- Installing grill air condition support
4.    Stage and Floor area improvements
- Install new iron structure with fiber cement
- Install vinyl tile(only on stage)
- Wax and grout the old floor tile
- Decorating the panel on backstage
5. Door work
- Adjust aluminum at the front door
- Adjust and lacquer paint wood entrance door and
- Repaint fire exit door
6.    Modernized electricsystem, sound system and mechanical system
- Wiring new electric system and equipment
- Installing plug, switch, and pvc duct
- Installing load center
- Wiring sound system cable
- Installing new audio system
- Adjusting grill air and air duct

7. Painting and other work
- Repaint aluminum grill and ceiling in front of auditorium hall
- Paint gypsum ceiling at foyer
- Do waterproof at the rooftop floor, windows and panel
- Fix and reinstall stone at front curve
8. Additional information to follow
- Secure additional space for all air conditioner lines and electric wires which
will be carried out in the future
- Provide eco-friendly(if possible) materials or no harmful substance materials
for the renovation
-The entire wall of the stage shall be used for the projector; therefore, an
exclusive wallpaper for projector is required
- Before signing the contract, all product samples are required to be presented to
the Korean Embassy for an approval(especially electric lights)
9. After the renovation, the contractor must submit the full detailed blueprint, full
floor plan, reports, PCR test record and all documents in both paper and cd
form.
